Via Pak Observer Peshawar—Activists of Tanzeem-e-Tahafuz-e-Haqooq-e-Chtiral (TTHC) held a protest demonstration against bifurcation of Malakand Division here on Thursday. The protesters led by the TTHC Chairman Siddique Amin, President Mualana Saadullah and General Secretary, Shakirullah along with scores of people of Chitral outside cantonment Railway Station. Holding placards and banner inscribed with slogans against the separation of Malakand division, they were also raising their slogans in this regard.
They while talking to media men said that there were some people deliberately want to keep district Chitral and Dir backward. They said that people of Chitral and Dir would decide either remain with Malakand division or demand for separation.
“We will not accept any division without consent of the people of Chitral and Dir,” hey warned and added that the issue of bifurcation was raised to divert attention from the core issues being faced by the masses and hide government failure. Criticizing the elected representatives for their vague role in resolution of the problems confronting to the people in their respective areas, they warned that those who wanted to divide district Chitral, Dir and Bajaur would not be succeed in their nefarious mission, saying that the areas were kept backward at all level since indenpedence of the country. “We will foil any attempt to separate people of Chitral, Dir and Bajaur under the any division plan of Malakand division”, they added.
