Image via WikipediaChitral (Via Chitral News) -- Wireless network service provider Mobilink has been putting up poor performance for quite sometime. The Chitral Mobile Association has in a public advertisement pasted on walls announced boycott of the service until it improves its service. It may be noted that all major mobile service providers have their presence in Chitral but their performance leaves much to be desired.
None of the mobile service provider has installed the EDGE system on its towers depriving the users of a useful service. Networks are unreliable and back off at the time when you need them most. PTCL wireless loop system is the biggest culprit in this regard. Mobile companies need to improve their services in Chitral.-- CN report 14 May 2011..
