Chitral royal family member kidnapped in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Unidentified gunmen allegedly kidnapped a member of the royal family of Chitral in the posh University Town here Friday, sources said.

The sources said that Prince Saif Ali, member of the royal family of Chitral and son of a former diplomat, Ziauddin, was on way home when he was kidnapped by armed men in the University Town.

The police started raiding the suspected places in the metropolitan to recover him.

Earlier confusion was caused due to the conflicting statements about the identity of the abducted person as some people said he was the son of an Afghan diplomat. Later it was confirmed that he was the member of the royal family of Chitral.
