Chitral Scouts win Pakistan Day cricket match

Chitral—Chitral Scouts defeated Degree College Chitral by five wickets in the Pakistan Day Cricket match played here at Scout ground on Wednesday.

Winning the toss Degree College team decided of first batting by scoring a meager runs target of 68 runs only. While Chitral Scouts cricket team achieved the said target in 14 over with a loss of 6 wickets and won the match.

Chitral Scouts was declared winner team while Degree College was announced as runner-up team. Nike Mahmood of Chitral Scouts was declared man of the match on achieving of 5 wickets. Havaldar was declared best player of the match.

Commandant Scouts and District Coordination Officer Chitral as well as District Police Officer Haji Abdul Rashid distributed awards and cash prizes among the players.—APP
