Ex MNA sit-in protest camp against drugs selling

Pakistan Observer: Chitral—Former MNA Chitral and President Jamiat Itihadi Uluma KPK Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali sit-in a protest camp against suspension work on Lawari tunnel and selling of Narcotics in Chitral openly. Addressing at protest camp former District Nazim Maghfirat Shah and other leaders of political and religious parties strongly condemned suspending work on Lawari tunnel and selling of Narcotics in 14 shops of Chitral.

They alleged district administration and law enforcement agencies for patronizing and supporting drug traffickers and smugglers. They said that we time and again protested and demanded from the law enforcement agencies for banning
and eradicating drug abuse from Chitral but they never took any action against them. Former MNA Said that there are 14 shops where Hashish and other Narcotics are selling openly. He said that there is an influential drug trafficker and some 83 FIRs have been lodged against him but local police never arrested him.

Responding to a question Abdul Akbar said that at present we protesting against selling of Narcotics and peacefully register our protest demanding from the local authorities for crackdown against those social evils if they did not take any action then we will came on roads with aggressive protest.
