CHITRAL: The local elders on Saturday asked Federal Minister for Communication Dr Arbab Alamgir to restart work on the incomplete Lowari Tunnel.
Addressing a press conference, the elders including Maulana Abdul Shakoor, Sher Hakeem, Maulana Balinas and Taimoor Shah said the PPP-led government had disappointed the people of Chitral by not completing the remaining work on the tunnel in four years.

They added that work couldn’t be resumed though the
government had announced Rs2 billion for the project.
