Chitral resident seeks action against land grabber

Via The News: PESHAWAR: A resident of Garam Chashma in Chitral district on Wednesday appealed to Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti, inspector general police and district coordination officer of Chitral to take action against land mafia that grabbed his land.   Speaking at a news conference, Habib Ahmad alleged that Hussain Ahmad along with his fellows illegally occupied his land in Garam Chashma area. He said he had all the relevant documents which proved his ownership claim but despite that Hussain Ahmad had grabbed his land. "We got a first information report registered against him but due to his connections, no action was taken against him," he stated.   He appealed to the authorities concerned to take action against illegal occupation and award exemplary punishment to the occupants.
